Welcome to my blog, Fantasy Baseball Flash! I am very excited that you are here to check out my great fantasy baseball content. Have you ever wondered how to get the “edge” on the game and your opponents in your fantasy leagues? Maybe you have never played fantasy baseball, and you are looking to get involved with the game for the first time. As a veteran of fantasy baseball, I have been around and studied the game for years on end, and it is my goal with this blog to help you out with the game.
The fact of the matter is that any Joe-Schmo can come up with rankings, comment on good performances, and point out bad performances. The content that I create here uses exactly what wins fantasy baseball leagues: the stats. I hope that my statistical analysis will help you understand not just that a certain player is good or bad, but why that player is good or bad.
I could focus this blog around rankings and perceived value, but I’m not. The bottom line is, every single fantasy league is different. The goal of this blog is to deliver you solid content on individual players and teams to help you better understand what you are buying into.
Sure, it’s great to draft that high strikeout, high inning workhorse, until you dig deeper down and see that he is actually on the downturn of his career (cough Carlos Zambrano cough). I will help you improve your ability to gauge player value and recognize value when it comes to you in your draft.
Fresh fantasy baseball content will be produced on a daily basis. Please be patient while I set up certain parts of this blog, as the blog is only one month old! If readers show interest, I may also expand to some fantasy football topics in the offseason, but fantasy baseball content will be produced year-round so you can study the game with me constantly!
